Conserver son kit jusqu'à Noël

Keep your kit until Christmas

You had planned to offer one or more U MAIN kits to your loved ones for the holidays but you don't know how to store the ingredients until then?
Do not panic ! We give you all the secrets of the conservation of our kits in this article!

All U MAIN kits have a shelf life of more than 12 months when you receive them, whether opened or closed. They keep at room temperature.
That's why it's not too early to order your kits to make delicious artisanal cheeses at home and offer them at Christmas.
The production of certain cheeses requires bacterial cultures. The Deluxe Kits - 6 Cheese , Halloumi and Cheese Curds , and Feta Cheese and Greek Yogurt contain bacterial cultures specifically designed for making cheese curds, feta cheese and Greek yogurt.
Thus, when you receive your order, it will be indicated on the post office box to place the bacterial cultures in the refrigerator or the freezer.
Simply, for better long-term preservation, it is best to refrigerate or freeze them so that they remain active for a long time. If you freeze them they will even last an additional 6 months beyond the expiry date indicated on your kit.
The bacterial cultures can therefore spend several days at room temperature without any concern, it is not meat or milk. There is therefore no risk of food poisoning.
You can therefore wrap the kit, place it under the tree and offer it to your loved one who likes to cook, simply telling them to freeze or refrigerate the bacterial cultures when they get home.
Conclusion: No need to wait to order your kit, its freshness will always be optimal for the holidays!
The U MAIN team wishes you a pleasant holiday shopping!
